Scoring has followed Gianna Gourley throughout her career.

At Grand Canyon, Gourley scored 49 goals with 15 assists in 65 appearances, becoming the program's all-time leader in goals and points. Her final college season included 21 goals, WAC Offensive Player of the Year honors and the first United Soccer Coaches All-America selection in GCU women's soccer history.

Her professional path has developed in a different way. Gourley began with Fort Lauderdale United FC before joining DC Power on loan in February 2025. She scored seven goals in 14 appearances that spring, leading DC Power to acquire her permanently that summer. Gourley then scored another eight goals during the fall schedule and entered 2026 as DC Power's all-time leading scorer. The club extended her contract through the 2026/27 season.

Her path is also a useful example of something HSM emphasizes with players entering the professional game: the first destination does not have to define the career. Minutes, production and the right opportunity can change a player's market quickly. Gourley's move from Fort Lauderdale to a loan in Washington, then a permanent transfer and extension, has done exactly that. HSM represents Gianna as she continues that progression with DC Power.
