ALI RILEY

Former New Zealand & Angel City FC Captain | 5x FIFA Women's World Cup | 4x Olympian

Ali Riley's career has spanned nearly two decades, five FIFA Women's World Cups, four Olympic Games and club soccer across the United States and Europe. She earned 163 caps for New Zealand and captained the Football Ferns, while her club career included FC Gold Pride, Western New York Flash, FC Rosengård, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Orlando Pride and Angel City FC, where she became the club's first captain. Riley retired from professional soccer following the 2025 NWSL season.

HSM's work with Ali has extended well beyond her playing career. Over the years, Ali and HSM have worked together on partnerships across food, wellness, lifestyle and social impact, including work with Tovala, Wedderspoon and the Ocean Sewage Alliance. In 2025, SponsorUnited reported that Ali led all NWSL players with 11 active endorsement deals despite ranking 35th among players in Instagram followers. It remains one of the clearest examples of the commercial career Ali has built away from the field.

Since retiring, Ali has continued building across women's sports and media. She became the first Commercial and Creative Partner in Angel City's Player Futures program, joined Kelley O'Hara as co-host of Time Wasting, continued her work as a soccer analyst and became a founding investor and owner in LOVB San Francisco.
